I had to swap out a faulty Bosch Freezer Door Handle (Genuine part number 096110) so I measured up the dimensions with a caliper and engineered a replacement part based on the original design. The base support in the handle was beefed up to create an even stronger piece and prevent any potential weak spots from developing. My initial printout was done at a layer thickness of 0.15mm, but I'm confident that a thicker 0.2mm layer would be more than sufficient, paired with a 100% infill setting that ensures the part is both robust and functional enough to replace the original handle. To smooth out the surface finish, I gave it a once-over with some 400-grit sandpaper followed by a finer 600-grit polish.
