Fridge beerhangers
thingiverse
My fridge was too cramped for my beers so I had to find a more efficient way to store them. With this clever "beerhanger," I can hang my beers in my fridge while still utilizing the space beneath and above. The beers are secured tightly, eliminating any risk of them falling out. So far, it's only been tested with Dutch beer bottles (300ml). These bottles rest on their glass necks rather than their caps to prevent accidental de-cap-itation. The beer hanger is mounted securely using a couple of M3 screws. I opted for 12mm long M3 screws and recommend doing the same since that's all that holds it in place. You can choose how many beers you want to hang and print the corresponding number of mounting plates. HangerAxB.stl A = Depth in beers (25mm, 100mm, 150mm) B = Horizontal length in beers My initial test with a Hanger3x3 failed, so I ended up with a sturdy 2x3 hanger held by four M3 screws. I'm not liable for any beer losses! I printed this design using a 0.6mm nozzle and haven't tested it with a 0.4 nozzle yet, but that shouldn't make a difference. One beer met its demise during the prototyping phase of this design.
