Frictionless Gear Extra Credit

This design finally met the standards necessary for online publication. Created as extra credit for my manufacturing class, its purpose was to print within a specific volume that allowed for easy removal of any remaining filament from the extruders before changing materials. I drew inspiration from frictionless gears, visualizing how their cylinders could rotate smoothly while still securing snugly in their slots.
