Friction reducer for Monoprice Select Mini or Malyan M200

The razor-sharp edges of this model shine when printed in PLA, drastically reducing drag on heavy ABS spools of filament compared to the larger, round, rough texture painted edges of the printer's roll holder. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Select Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 10% Notes: At 0.3mm resolution, there is virtually no infill, and with it set to 10%, the result is solid anyway. How I Designed This I envisioned creating a roller design using aluminum angle, bolts, and roller bearings, with the spool running directly on the bearings. Then, I slid a sharp edge of a PLA print around the inside of a filament spool and was impressed by its slickness. "I could make an addon for the spool holder," I thought, "much easier than anything rolling." I went through several mental iterations, initially thinking it would have snap-on pieces to keep the roll centered between two flat parts connected by a thin bridge in the middle. In just a few minutes, I simplified it down to just a plain, thin, "U" channel the full length. Then, to save on print time and filament use, I cut the notches in the sides and the four holes in the top. If it loads with the wrong size, it's supposed to be 30mm wide.
