Fretsaw

All good things go by three! My third model of a FRETSAW.It's a reverse engineering of another interesting tool from my toolbox. The saw blade of this model has a straight set toothing, which I tried to model as exact as possible to the original. The straight set toothing prevents the saw blade from getting jammed in the wood.Notes:All threads are modeled with theoretical values, calculated with an "Excel Table".The fastening of the handle is an elaborate proposal only, because I did not want to destroy the handle. If anyone has alternative ideas for fastening a wooden handle onto a metallic part, please let me know.Draft angles for a die casting manufacturing of the component, where the handle is assembled onto, are not modeled. The protection cap - a ball - at the end of the saw bow is an idea by me and not absolutely necessary. But all in all considered, a highly detailed model, quite near to the original product. The model (main assembly with all subassemblies and components) is available as a STEP file (.stp) only.
