A 1st order Fresnel lens replica, similar to St. Augustine Lighthouse's, stands at approximately 3.5m tall and 2m in diameter (12' x 7'). Precision alignment ensures light projection horizontally from the focal lamp. The animated lantern system, turning clockwise, is designed for compatibility with existing lighthouse towers or marine scenes. Texture-free to reduce model size, three types of lights are used: a ball object emitting in all directions, an internal screen lit frontwise, and parallel volumetric spotlights representing rotating beams. Note that the lighthouse tower in the turntable is from another model, Cape Aghulas Lighthouse.
