This design uses Customizer! http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=51874, making changes on the fly without losing control. Instructions The process works by changing parameters within an app. In this case: Conversion units: Metric (m, cm, mm) and Imperial (inches). The standard settings are set to meters (1 unit). Font source: Using "Letters.dxf", which converts 3D letters from fonts with vector design. Unit conversion in metric values: Converting data sets between units using real values for each setting. It starts with Metric, uses decimal numbers and the first four values, then changes the units system to the one of choice and performs this change for the remaining five units by swapping and recalculating values on every unit change while applying changes automatically from conversion data stored. Size is not set yet, only converted to real units: For each setting (font, metric value etc.), set the corresponding real values for it and store in custom setting file "Settings". Type and font size can now be entered into 0 or other values in an already set file - if desired (it's easier with the correct parameters though), as is all type here (size).
