French Revolution | GUILLOTINE
sketchfab
In France, Joseph Ignace Guillotin revolutionized the guillotine in 1789. The French people subjected their monarchs to the death machine (Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette met their demise by decapitation) and that's how the Republic began in France. First: I created drawings on paper with visual references as my guide. Then, I worked with 3Ds Max to craft a detailed 3D model of both the guillotine and the coffin, including all other intricate details. Second: I exported the FBX file from 3Ds Max and imported it into Substance Painter, where I carefully textured each component using Photoshop as my trusted ally.
