1/1800th scale Redoutable Class Submarine model, accurate to the finest detail despite certain aspects not scaled in proportion. Designed and built in the 1920's by the French, these Redoutable class submarines quickly fell into disuse at the outbreak of World War II, only to see significant service throughout the conflict. Among a total of 31 vessels completed, unfortunately 26 were lost. Tested and designed specifically at 1/1800th scale, this submarine model can be successfully upscaled or downscaled depending on user preference. Nevertheless, because it's been optimized for its intended scale, printing larger versions can lead to disappointing results due to compromised details. Gun barrels and mast elements have intentionally been enlarged.
