Hi all, I wound up cracking my french press and instead of spending ~20 bucks on amazon for a new one I'm using a several hundred dollar machine and 5 bucks of filament to make a new one. Not sure I'm winning on the math there. But here's a design for the cup part of the french press. I just make cold brew exclusively so I'm not foreseeing a problem, but I really wouldn't put hot liquid in here. Tell me your thoughts please-- I'm concerned about bacteria buildup on the inside. Maybe a coat of primer and waterproof paint would help solve that issue.
