A French press, also known as a plunger or a coffee press, is a device used to brew coffee by steeping the grounds in hot water and then separating them using a mesh plunger. This method allows for a full-bodied cup of coffee with all the flavors and oils from the beans. To use a French press, simply add coarse ground coffee to the carafe, pour hot water over it, let it steep for 4 minutes, then press down the plunger to separate the grounds from the liquid. Easy and delicious!
