We have a refrigerator that uses the crisper center rail W10326469. This critical component breaks nearly every year due to the excessive weight in the drawers concentrated at the front clip of the center rail, a 4mm thick piece of plastic, roughly 38mm wide, which is subjected to too much stress. After yet another replacement, I concluded that the design was crying out for improvement. To address this issue, I'm working on a more sophisticated solution that will blend seamlessly with the refrigerator's design. For now, my makeshift fix seems to be performing exceptionally well after testing. It's worth noting that the refrigerator in question is a Maytag MFI2569YEM0. Given its widespread use in various refrigerators, it's possible that this part may also be used in your appliance. If so, it could potentially prevent similar issues from arising.
