I messed up my calculations - dimensions are off, so you'll only fit one quarter of a 500g butter piece. Sorry. I wanted a colorful French butter dish but couldn't find one that fit my budget. Easy fix: just make one! This is a 100% 3D printed container with no extra parts needed. It measures approximately 60x60mm, with an inside volume of 60cm^3. That should be plenty for a standard 500g butter piece in France, plus some extra space. To keep your butter soft and fresh, simply add water to the base - preferably previously boiled - and change it every two or three days. This should keep your butter nice and soft for up to one month, as long as the ambient temperature stays below 27°C. Important note: make sure to print this container with food-safe filament, like Colofabb XT. I've added the base_half_filet.stl file. The top of the base isn't rounded on the inside, which should reduce play with the lid.
