I used the French Bulldog Ornamental Scan by Stylecreep as a foundation to shape a French Bulldog tribute in memory of my friend's beloved dog, Chulo, who passed away in 2015. This charming canine was indeed a true gentleman and I wanted to create something special for my friend to honor his memory. I meticulously refined the scan, adding definition to the body where smoothing had lost some details and incorporating characteristics from the real dog. I also crafted paws and focused on capturing as many facial features as possible from the available photos. The intricate facial details are unlikely to be visible in FDM prints unless printed at a large scale. Despite this limitation, my friend kindly offered to print the sculpture for me at 7cm high, resulting in a beautiful piece that still manages to capture Chulo's essence, although it would undoubtedly benefit from being printed larger to showcase its full detail.
