Human: 1/1800th scale Bearn Class Aircraft Carrier model. Certain elements not to scale. The French aircraft carrier, a one-ship fleet named the Bearn class, was built and owned by the French Navy, becoming France's sole operational aircraft carrier following the war. It started life as the sole surviving hull of the planned Normandie battleship class, before undergoing conversion into an aircraft carrier. Much like other French naval vessels during this time, it saw minimal action in combat. Capable of carrying a maximum load of up to forty aircraft at one time, this impressive vessel was also armed with eight powerful six-inch guns along with numerous additional defensive artillery and four trainable torpedo tubes for self-defense against enemy ships or aircraft. This meticulously designed and tested scale model stands at 1/1800th, allowing easy expansion to different scales using your preferred scale tool. However, the design may lack some details in larger formats due to its optimal size for a small model. The enlarged guns and mast ensure maximum print quality and readability, especially on small print resolutions. As part of my collection focused specifically on World War II-era naval vessels, I invite you to keep an eye out for future releases. If there's any specific historical ship or model that interests you, don't hesitate to message me – I will prioritize adding it to my list.
