Freezer Temp Sensor
thingiverse
I made this alert system to notify me when my freezer stops working, which happens every now and then. The stl files for this project are designed as enclosures for a raspberry pi zero and holders for DS18B20 temperature sensors. My code is available on github, along with some useful resources, at https://github.com/jrucker2004/freezer_temp_alert. The enclosure and sensor holder are meant to be partially printed, then paused so that magnets can be inserted into the print before it continues. I used small round magnets from harbor freight. Here's what you'll need: * A raspberry pi zero w * A power supply for the pi * Four screws to hold the pi in place (I used 4-40 x 3/16") * A temp sensor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Q9YBIJI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 * A resistor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0185FGYY2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 * Some magnets: https://www.harborfreight.com/10-piece-rare-earth-magnets-67488.html
With this file you will be able to print Freezer Temp Sensor with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Freezer Temp Sensor.
