A Simple yet Effective Solution for Secure Battery Retention in the Stinger 64. I designed this battery retainer plate to be 64mm wide, taking into account the modifications I had made earlier to accommodate my Nanotech batteries. These adjustments narrowed the bay to approximately 37mm. To ensure a secure fit, I attached Velcro to hold the battery firmly in place. Next, using a sharp knife blade, I carefully cut a shallow slit about 3mm deep on each side of the battery bay, just above the Velcro attachment point. This strategic design feature allows the plate to twist into position, providing additional stability during inverted and negative G maneuvers.
