Mini mechanical retracts perfectly replicate Freewing SU-34 retracts. They fit seamlessly into hardware used in original freewheels retracts. If fabricating new hardware is necessary, use a 5mm x 15mm tube or rod as the pivot shaft, and 3mm wire for the landing gear strut. Secure the strut with an M4x6 mm grub screw, ensuring a flat spot on the strut to prevent unwanted rotation. Assemble retract housings using #0 or #1 screws.
