Freewing F-35 Lightning II V2 nose gear spacer

Freewing F-35 Lightning II V2 nose gear spacer

thingiverse

This is for the Freewing F-35 Lightning II V2 with 360 thrust vectoring. This modification adds a nose gear spacer to increase the angle of attack during takeoff. I discovered that my jet had a tendency to "stick" to the runway, so I tried lengthening the strut first but it didn't fit properly in the fuselage pocket. A 4mm spacer between the fuselage and the nose gear provides just enough increased angle of attack for smooth takeoffs, and the gear folds as intended without "popping" off the ground. It should print within about 30 minutes on most printers.
