Freewing F-22 Nose Gear Brace

Freewing F-22 Nose Gear Brace

This is a nose gear brace that supports the strut on my Freewing 90mm F-22, a model aircraft. The design was created with a focus on structural integrity and durability. To print this part, users should ensure that the flat side of the model is facing down on the bed of their 3D printer. After printing, I found that a 15% fill setting produced a sturdy result. When installing the nose gear brace, apply hot glue to the flanged edges of the plate as well as the underside. Attach the plate to a foam shelf located at the rear of the nose gear bay. To ensure proper fitment, position the flanged sides of the plate against the walls of the bay. However, it is essential to note that the starboard side of the plate should not be glued to the wall.
