Freewing Avanti S 80mm main landing gear reinforcement

I'm thrilled to be an Avanti owner! This plane flies beautifully, sounds fantastic, and is incredibly forgiving - it'll tolerate plenty of mistakes on my part.\r\n\r\nHowever, the main landing gear, although sturdy, tends to break at the foam joint during harsh landings, since only that component absorbs the impact if the front gear hits the ground.\r\n\r\nThis issue can be resolved by providing the front landing gear with a proper support system to help absorb minor to medium impacts. Check out installation photos for guidance; all you need is regular (foam-friendly) CA glue.\r\n\r\nI recommend printing this part on PETG if possible, as it offers added elasticity and a longer lifespan under sunlight or humid conditions. Use around 20-30% infill for a lightweight component weighing less than 5g.\r\n\r\nThere are many other fantastic parts available from various authors, so feel free to explore and find the one that best suits your needs. I wasn't impressed with existing designs because they either lacked impact resistance or used excessive material unless printed with low infill settings - check out https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2627712 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2553111 for examples.
