Simple spacers for the main retracts on the Freewing 1700mm A-10 are provided in three versions, each with a thickness of 2, 3 or 4 millimeters. These spacers were designed to prevent the main gear from binding when it is retracted. If you choose to use straight legs instead of the original trailing links, this spacer will be essential. To print these spacers, simply create two pieces for each retract. Important Notes: The holes on these spacers are asymmetrical. When assembling them, make sure that the thicker side of the spacer faces towards the retract body. If you raise the main wheel stance of your model, it may result in a slightly more nose-down attitude when standing on the ground. While this should have no significant impact on the performance of your A-10, it could potentially delay takeoff rotation by a small fraction. When printing these spacers, keep in mind that it's a good idea to use longer screws according to the thickness of the spacer you choose. Printing Instructions: Layer height: 0.2 millimeters Infill density: 100% Supports are not required during printing.
