thingiverse
Print a 3-point headtracking device for use with FreeTrack. If using FreeTrackNoIR is preferred, utilize the successor which also supports tracking without an IR device. The design incorporates a battery compartment and switch opening, meant for attachment on top of a headphone. For Logitech G930 users, a clip specifically designed for the G930 is available (use one with center guides) or attach using Velcro tape, or create your own clip. Additional parts needed include 2x M3 screws (10-15mm), 4x M3 hex nuts, 3x LEDs, electronics, and 2x AAA batteries. The battery holder is based on a thing from Thingiverse, crediting obijuan. To assemble: solder cables on each corner of the hex nuts; insert nuts into the battery compartment with cables through channels; solder LEDs to their respective cables and place them in the arms and tail; solve the cables, switch, and electronics inside the main box; add batteries; screw in screws; turn on the switch; configure FreeTrack model (3 Points Cap) according to a screenshot.
