I designed this Quad frame GoPro Mount because I couldn't find any sturdy and sleek options available anywhere. The versions that were supposed to slide onto a mount plate didn't fit at all, which made me take matters into my own hands. To secure the top plate firmly in place, you'll need to use two 3.5mm wide cable ties with their heads facing towards the back of the mount and then thread them through the cam mount from front to back. This creates a very rigid connection that minimizes wobble while still allowing for some flexibility to absorb high-frequency vibrations. My goal was to create a mount that would provide both stability and shock absorption, resulting in smooth footage. To achieve this, I included a slight bulge on the recording button, which makes it easy to press through the TPU casing.
