Freestanding / XChange dial gauge mount
cults3d
A double mounting system for a dial gauge for 3D printer calibration. The brand of the dial gauge is unknown but the mounting surfaces are 13.8mm external diameter. One mount is meant to slide onto a 12mm rod, and the other is designed to screw onto an XChange toolplate. Parts required: Gauge clip x 2 Arm x 1 XChange mount x 2 12mm rod mount x 1 Knob x 1 Required hardware: M4 x 35mm x 2 - Gauge clips to arm M4 x 15mm x 2 - Arm to 12mm rod mount M5 x 20mm x 1 (hex head) - retainer for 12mm rod mount, clamping against rod M3 x 8mm x 4 - XChange mount to XChange tool plate Assembly should be snug with zero wiggle. The printed parts are likely very tight by design. I filed the mounts slightly until the dial gauge would clip in securely.
