I created this presser foot for freehand sewing (with the feed dog disengaged), taking advantage of its circular profile to guide the material smoothly from all sides as it feeds. The trick to using it effectively is releasing almost all pressure on the presser foot, which I achieve by utilizing rubber bands. Printed in PLA with 0.2mm layers, which might be better if even finer, the presser foot should be lightly sanded on its underside so the fabric glides smoothly across its surface. You will also need a 1/16" diameter steel pin that is 5/8" long to work this project effectively. To lighten the pressure exerted by the presser foot, I place four #33 rubber bands - two sets of two placed in parallel and then looped together to increase their length - on the business end of the sewing machine underneath the edge of the foot mechanism. The open ends are secured with a paperclip. By looping the rubber bands around the body of the machine where they make contact, you can adjust the tension on the presser foot to achieve perfect balance and just enough pressure to barely touch the fabric as it sews by.
