Based off of Back7's design, I decided to create my own build. The foundation is designed specifically for this display: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07ZH6L9L4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I utilized m3 heatsets from McMaster to mount everything: https://www.mcmaster.com/94180A331. Due to limited space around the HDMI port on the display, I had to use this specific HDMI connector: https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/detail/adafruit-industries-llc/3553/7623055 and also https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/detail/adafruit-industries-llc/3562/7623064. I sourced a USB cable for the touch interface and power supply from the display: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33005520118.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.6a209ea4M1u10m&algo_pvid=3a3c9d8f-7e42-43ac-b71d-f9b2ae95cde5&algo_expid=3a3c9d8f-7e42-43ac-b71d-f9b2ae95cde5-1&btsid=0ab6d69515913903193103982e7a5d&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_. I personally already had one lying around and didn't order it from Aliexpress. The Ethernet switch used is: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07S98YLHM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I also employed the Khadas vim3 SOB: https://www.khadas.com/vim3. The switches used are: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07FHYZWW1/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The DC Port used is: https://www.amazon.ca/Fancasee-4-Pack-Female-Connector-Adapter/dp/B07Z3TQFN9/ref=sr_1_37?dchild=1&keywords=female+dc+port&qid=1591390786&sr=8-37. The Ethernet panel cable used is: https://www.adafruit.com/product/909. The USB Panel cables used are: https://www.amazon.ca/StarTech-com-USBPNLAFAM1-Panel-Mount-1-Feet/dp/B002M8RVKA. I also utilized the USB Hub: https://www.amazon.ca/USB-3-0-Hub-ICZI-Laptops-Black/dp/B01N3Q7SUF/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=usb+hub+basics&qid=1591391043&sr=8-7. The Baofeng Uv-5R is also part of the build.
