The iPhone: A Beacon of Arab Democracy - The internet and mobile communication played a pivotal role in the Arab Spring movement. As a portable powerhouse, the iPhone embodies the spirit of global connectivity like no other device can. In my design, I drew inspiration from traditional Arabic patterns, which not only reference the region's geographical identity but also evoke the idea of freedom - a concept deeply rooted in Islamic art, where such patterns symbolize the infinite and the limitless. The word "freedom" is boldly emblazoned in Arabic script, overlaying the iconic Apple logo. While this design may not be perfectly suited for Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), I remain hopeful that affordable Stereolithography (SLS) Printers will soon become a reality, expanding the possibilities of 3D printing for all.
