I'm going to experiment with different materials for the plastic spring, trying out stronger ones or making it thicker to improve its durability. Alternatively, I could switch to metal springs altogether - they're known for their effectiveness in this application. As for the 2-part design with a guide, that was just an idea; feel free to modify it as you see fit.
