This is my custom filament holder design. The additional purchase of two packs of these bearing kits will work perfectly(https://www.homedepot.com/p/Prime-Line-1-1-4-in-Patio-Roller-Kit-2-per-package-D-1796/100574233) or anything with a .375 diameter axle will fit(tighten it up a couple passes with the knife and it'll press in). This design allows the reel to spin freely. I've used it mainly on HatchBox Pla reels, specifically 1/2 kg reels, which I had to remove from the base to get them to fit.
