Free spinning Filament Guide
thingiverse
I use IKEA Lack tables as a base for my printer but found the filament guides feeding through the top particularly frustrating when using a drybox. This design is based on two 608 bearings that allow the guide to spin freely, making it compatible with different filament sources and a large spool guiding the filament into the pipe through the enclosure. I didn't optimize this design for printing without supports, leaving room for improvement. However, I prioritized function over form, and it works well despite its limitations. To assemble the parts, you'll need M3 screws and nuts. The bearings are friction-fit, requiring no additional fasteners. I printed this design in PLA, but PETG would be a better choice due to its properties.
