This one will print without supports if you use a full brim. I'm a collector of unusual things, which is why I've created over 200 Buddha remixes. Recently, I came across some cane and walking stick toppers that caught my eye and sparked the idea for this project - remaking them into unique collections (and the finished sticks). You can create an exceptional solid oak cane or walking stick for about $7. In addition to your chosen printed topper, you'll need a 1" oak dowel, which costs around $6 at Home Depot, and a 1" rubber leg tip - about $4 for four of them. Below are some links to help you know what to buy: 1" Oak Dowel: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Builder-s-Choice-1-in-x-36-in-Oak-Round-Dowel-HDDO136/206184686 1" Leg Tip: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QD30TE The topper .stl file is designed for the 1" dowel if printed at 100%. If you want to use it for a different size stick, just adjust accordingly. I print my toppers with 20% infill and then paint them, coating them with a 2-part epoxy resin to achieve a deep gloss and added strength. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BM9LHRB Just print the topper, attach it to your finished dowel (sanded and coated) using your preferred adhesive. I simply use some of my leftover 2-part resin for the final topper coat. The result is an awesome walking stick - or more if you're like me, collecting these unique pieces.
