Free Money!
thingiverse
Create your own set of coins using this printable Thing! This educational tool aids in learning math skills like addition, subtraction, and fractions through the use of money. The set includes coins in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50, printed on double-sided designs with values on both sides for easy recognition. These coins are approximately the same size as U.S. coins and are easy to handle. While not entirely free due to filament costs (approximately 1 cent per 1 cent coin and 1.5 cents per quarter), these coins provide a fun and interactive way to learn about money. Print with a 0.4 mm tip, 0.3 mm layer height, and optional fan for overhangs. Use grey/silver and brown/copper filament for more realistic appearance (optional). The simple design allows for fast printing, and an OpenScad file is included for customization of coin denominations.
