English In this project I developed a modular spectacle case, the magnetic closure and the hinge are always the same. I have created 3 standard sizes, which contain CAD data (FreeCAD and STEP) so that individual spectacle cases are also possible. As material I recommend PLA or PETG. The following components are not to be printed: - 2 pieces 3 mm x 60 mm metal rod for the hinge. I have used brass whereby aluminium or stainless steel also works. - 14 pieces of M2 screws the length is possible from 4 to 10 mm. I recommend 6 mm. - 1 to 2 pieces felt approx. 1 - 3 mm thick - 2 to 6 magnets 5 x 8 mm - glue assembly First the felt should be brought into shape. Simply soak it in warm water for 15 minutes and then squeeze it out, then place it in the bowl. The felt can also be pulled apart with a little force so that no creases appear. Then let it dry in the mould (approx. 24h). If the felt is dry, it can be lived firmly and afterwards the overhanging felt can be cut off. It is best to cut more and more downwards in several steps. Now the hinge can be screwed on, if there are pieces of material in the hinge or the pressure cannot be clean, the holes can be drilled with a 3.2 mm drill (as a core drill for M4 in any normal HSS - drill set included). Finally the magnets have to be inserted, always opposite each other so that they attract each other, the number has to be decided by everyone 2 is a little bit weak, 6 relatively firm, but everyone feels this differently. I would be very happy about a small https://paypal.me/d23elt05a donation or a picture of your print, and would be happy if you visit my other Designs. :)
