Freddy Glove (youth sized)
thingiverse
My kid (he's six) decided he wanted to be Freddy Krueger for Halloween, so I created a glove for his hand. I'm really happy with how it turned out, so I figured I'd share it with everyone. The fingers are made up of separate segments that print together and have a working hinge, attaching them securely to the back of the hand plate. I riveted them in place for extra stability. The blades fit snugly into each finger and then get glued in there. To add an extra layer of detail, I used a 3Doodler to weld the blades onto the fingers, which really helped them look more realistic. This project was far from perfect, but it turned out great and was super fun to work on. I'm pretty sure you could easily scale this design up to fit an adult hand, even though I haven't tried it myself.
