<p>I liked all the dice daggers that I've seen on etsy and elsewhere and I thought I'd bone up on my fusion skills and see what I could come up with.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Ultimately I wanted &nbsp;the dagger/sword to look like something a nobleman would carry.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>For printing, if there is an overhang, use supports. &nbsp;I've had the best luck with build plate supports where necessary.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>If you make this:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>build the blade flat and diagonal across the build plate as one piece (if it fits) (build plate supports for the groove along the side)</li><li>scabbard is split in half at the mid point. &nbsp;Build those vertically (build plate supports) &nbsp;Glue together with those tiny pins.</li><li>build the handle and the hilt vertically</li><li>the tang is glued into the sword, hilt, handle and pommel so that the overall model is strong</li><li>the scabbard will be loose. &nbsp;I embedded strips of black duct tape to the inside of the scabbard to remove some of the slop</li></ul><p>Metallic silk PLA was used for the blade and pommel. &nbsp;…thought the blade turned out pretty good too!</p><p>&nbsp;</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/76474/rich_content/9088b17f-514d-404e-934c-698c20eb35ae/dagger-exploded.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%228df1d6d9-6a89-4670-a143-61da1cd92dcd%22%2C%22w%22%3A1790%2C%22h%22%3A971%7D"></figure>
