The FRC Team 811 presents a modular control board tailored for FIRST FRC robots, allowing swift hardware detachment without tools while maintaining firm connections. Ideal for those uncertain about board layouts or motor controller numbers, or who plan to adjust robot configurations based on individual match strategies. Its wire cover system facilitates easy multilevel routing of wires across the board, securing wire quick disconnects and providing wire protection. The board also features options for downward wire routing through the board, which we utilized to reach lower control boards and CIM motors. This year, we additionally designed the board for quick detachment from the robot, enabling easy sliding out of the entire board as required. The system is licensed to Luke Yost ('14) under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike License; it cannot be commercially produced without his consent. Any derivatives must adhere to the same licensing rules and be added to this file collection.
