FRC Lancaster motor cowl
thingiverse
FRC guys produced a magnificent score and fold Avro Lancaster.... various items were then created as 3D prints to use on the model. I decided that a motor cowl would be a good addition and modified my Tiger Moth cowl to suit. The shaft hole is oval and is left as such on purpose to allow cooling air to enter instead of cutting radiator hole in the lower front and weakening the cowl. It prints fine at 0.2 layer height and no need for supports etc.
