FRC FIRST Window Motor Adapater
thingiverse
This component is for push-fitting onto a window motor; it features a 6-hole bolt pattern (for 1/4 hex bolts) with a 2" diameter. The adapter side has been designed with a hex pattern to match the bolts' heads. A prior version, printed on a Makerbot, failed at 40 foot pounds. To enhance durability, utilize 15% fill and at least 8 shells when printing the part connecting to the window motor. For FRC teams utilizing this part, kindly credit team 981, "SnoBotics," and share your feedback. If alternative formats are needed, simply request them, and I'll supply those as well. Ensure that you print with the window adapter connector facing upward; this was done without a raft or support structure using Makerbot 2 and PLA material.
