Tool for Inspecting FRC 2018 Power Up Bumpers. Size is 5.5"x8". Split Version is Two Sections, 6.8" x 1.5" and 5.5" x 2.8". Designed Gap on the Split is 0.1mm; Tighter Version Coming Soon with Print Parameter Tweaks. Update: Added Year and Latest Team Update Labels. Also Provided Tighter Split Files with 0.05mm Gap. Important Note: This Tool Does Not Cover All Bumper Rules, But Can Be Used for Nearly All Measurements. It's a Handy Little Square for Checking Various Things. Basic Use Instructions: 1. Place the Long Part Vertically on the Ground; All Bumper Parts Should Fit Under the Skinny Bar. 2. Pressed Against a Bumper's Cloth, the 3/4" Mark Should be Near the Back of the Wood Backing for 3/4" Thick Wood and 2-1/2" Noodles (Verification with Actual Bumper + Noodles Not Yet Completed). 3. Use the 3/4" Mark to Verify Wood Backing Thickness. 4. Check >6" of Bumper from a Corner Using the 6" Mark. 5. Use the 4.5" and 5.5" Marks on the Back to Check the Height of the Wood Backing. 6. Use the 1" Mark to Check the Extension of Hard Parts Past the Wood Backing. 7. The Inside Short Dimension of the L is 4", Which Can Be Used to Check the Height of Numbers on the Bumper. 8. The Short Top Portion is 1/2" Tall, Which Can Be Used to Check Font Stroke on Numbers and Support at Bumper Ends. 9. Use the Tool's Thickness (1/4") to Check the 1/4" Allowance for Bumpers Near Corners and Minor Protrusions Like Bolt Heads Out of the Frame Perimeter. 10. If the Long Part Fits Between a Bumper and Frame from Top to Bottom, You Have a Gap in Support Longer Than 8" and Wider Than 1/4". 11. The Split Version Provides a Satisfying Clicking Sound as the Layers Slide Against Each Other, Calming Grumpy Robot Inspectors.
