Frantix Burr Puzzle Wooden Toy
grabcad
This puzzle is a variation of the 1890 Altekruse burr, designed by Stewart Coffin. It comprises two parts that create two pieces each (refer to "scheme" image). The model features 12 pieces in total, with six of each type. The design was created using Solidworks 2015 and rendered through Simlab Composer 6 Mechanical Edition. Frames were edited within Virtualdub before being converted into AVI/X264 and BMP formats. The video was then remuxed to MP4 with MyMP4BoxGui, while gifs were made using GifApp. Images underwent further editing with IrfanView. The 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files are animated for enhanced visual experience. These can be viewed on IOS and Android devices via the free Simlab Viewer app after downloading the ZIM file. The model is available in multiple formats including Solidworks 2015, Simlab Composer 6, DAE, STEP, IGES, STL, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, and ZIM.
