Human: A wedge-shaped sandstone block, discovered in the Frankinshaw Well area of High Moor, situated south of Newsham in North Yorkshire. This stone was first identified by Paul Brown in 1997 and documented as reference number 82 in the Barningham section of Beckensall & Laurie's 1998 publication, 'Prehistoric Rock Art of County Durham, Swaledale, and Wensleydale.' Published records indicate that these markings are likely caused by natural erosion. Since this stone lies outside of County Durham, it was not included in the data submitted by NADRAP to ADS for ERA. A model created from 10 stereo pairs captured by Team 5 during NADRAP's recording in April 2007 forms part of the full NADRAP archive deposited with Historic England.
