This Halloween, print a new and improved Frankenstein's Monster! This remixed model now boasts updated bolts, stitches, and an interchangeable brain. You can even use his head as a fun and quirky chip bowl for your next big party. Original single print model here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1057510 Print Settings: No Rafts Needed Supports Required For Best Results Optimize Your Print with 250 Microns of Resolution Use 8% Infill to Prevent Holes in the Top Important Notes: * Cut off the bottom in your slicer for a flat surface. * Ensure bolts don't droop by printing with support. * Set infill at least 8% for hole-free results. The Head: Printed on a Type A Machines 2014 Series 1 3D Printer, this model shone with natural clear PLA from 3D Solutech. Support structures ensured perfect 81 degree overhangs. With a brim of twenty lines, the print process went smoothly. The print time clocked in at 40 hours. At 0.8 mm thick, the shell showed incredible detail. 7% fill density created an intricate design. Head Details: A z-hop of 0.4 mm when retracting showcased perfect execution. Filament used was a substantial 265.73 meters. Printing took place at a sizzling hot temperature of 230C. The Brain: Another identical Type A Machines 2014 Series 1 3D Printer job, printed with the same material. Printed on an incline with 55 degree overhangs. Perfect brim structure to maintain 20 lines throughout. This model showed stunning height of 140 mm, just shy of six inches. Sliced using the top-notch Cura slicing software and modeled with the exceptional Z Brush, this creation comes together as one amazing print!
