I took the original design from @LoboCNC's amazing light switch and made some exciting changes. I increased the switch clearance to accommodate 2 and 3 gang "Decora" paddle-type switches. While working on this project, I also redesigned the blade to allow printing the knob in wood filament and the blade in silver. This way, users can achieve a unique look for their projects. On January 31st, 2018, I added a remix of the single switch blade adapted for separate knobs, thanks to @Blackaliss's request. The "paddlenubbin" that goes in the middle, traditional toggle light switch plates, and all the original files can be found on @LoboCNC's Thingiverse page: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:649284. On December 21st, 2016, I updated the "paddlenubbin" from the original thing to have everything in one place for easier access. Print Settings: Printer: Da Vinci 1.0a Repetier Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 30% Notes: STL files are included with built-in supports and without them. I printed most of this in PLA wood fill filament and the mad-sci blade in silver fill ABS for an authentic mad scientific experience. Design Process: I took the original 3 x paddle plates, sucked them into Tinkercad, chopped out the middle part, added new clearance, cut out the additional clearance, and added supports as required.
