Update: Added gauge to cut PTFE tube for heat break, and (un-tested) nozzle fan hinge v2. This mount is designed to be sliced by Cura. All holes are enlarged so printed holes fit screws. If slicing with Slic3r, holes may be too large, causing broken slot walls. This makes fine-tuning difficult. For finetuning the mount, check out this post: http://tinkeringinhk.blogspot.com/2014/08/printing-optimized-frankenstein-hotend.html As I'm unable to minimize play in a later batch of Makibox, I'm not sure if the finetuning post is still relevant. It may be easier to print a mount with 4.2mm slots, starting with a 23.85mm pitch. If it's not smooth enough, try a different pitch. STL files for four different pitches - top and bottom mounts - are included. Print with three perimeters and 30% infill.
