The standard E3D fan that comes with the printer doesn't cut it when it comes to cooling the extruder. I had a major problem with jams caused by heat buildup. I designed this extruder cooling duct based on an existing model, but scaled up for a 40mm fan. This isn't some hacked-up version of the original STL file; I completely re-created it from scratch in Solidworks. There are two versions available - one that includes a built-in mount for the TronXY cube sensor sold by GearBest, and another without the mounting feature.
