Printing issues arose due to outdated filmant that had expired. A major factor in this problem was indeed the aged filmant. However, a revised version was created with printability in mind. This updated model prints flat on the bed, resulting in reduced vertical travel and support requirements. The horizontal printing lines also make it more durable than its predecessor. To accommodate different needs, both rounded and square versions are included. The mounting remains unchanged. DW1988's original measurements and design were reworked to create this revised version.
