Welcome to FrankenForge! I'm combining my designs for the FlashForge Creator Pro / PowerSpec 3D Pro Printer and all associated clones under the FrankenForge name. This is my latest creation: a 608 Bering Spool Mount Replacement designed for the FFCP/PS3DP Printers with 30mm Tube Mounts for Filament Spools. This innovative design is perfect for spools with a 52mm Inner Diameter and a Width of 62-70mm, making it suitable for Makerbot, Inland, and Microcenter house brand filaments that fit flawlessly. The purpose of this mount is to completely replace the stock spool tubes, requiring you to drill 4 holes in the back of your printer's housing. Unlike other designs, this relies on the bolt head and coupling nut pressure on the bearings to hold everything together, allowing for some variance in spool size and printing variation. Parts List: Printed: * Base Plate (1) * Half Tube (2) * Wingnut Top (1) Other: * M8 100mm Bolt (1) * M8 24mm Coupling Nut (1) * M3 12mm Socket Head Bolt (4) * M3 Locking Nuts (4) * M3 Washers (4) * M3 Lock Washers (4) * 608 Bering (Standard Skateboard Bearing) (2) * Glue - I recommend using Loctite Go2Glue Instructions: 1. Print the base plate, driving the coupling nut into it so that it's even with the round side and sticking out a few millimeters from the square side. 2. Remove the existing plastic mounting tube and plastic nuts from the printer. 3. Put the base plate into the 30mm hole from the rear outside of the printer and temporarily secure it with blue painting tape. 4. After squaring up the base plate, drill matching holes into the back plate of the printer using the 4 corner holes as a guide. 5. Use the 4 M3 screws, washers, lock-washers, and locking nuts to secure the back plate to the rear of the printer. 6. Glue the Wingnut Top to the head of the M8 100mm bolt and allow it to dry completely. 7. Mount the Half Pipe parts, 2 608 Bearings, and the M8x100 bolt to your spool of filiment. 8. Mount the spool to the back plate by tightening down the bolt into the coupling nut until it's finger tight to the bearings.
