Frank Lloyd Wright Gordon House
thingiverse
This 3D printed Frank Lloyd Wright Gordon House model showcases a detailed architectural design, complete with internal floors and walls. When printed at a 0.4x slicer scale, all components will fit within a 200mm by 200mm printer area. The model can be produced in one color or multiple colors, offering versatility to users. Removable roofs and second-story floor and wall sections facilitate easy assembly. The Usonian Gordon house was constructed in 1963 near Wilsonville, Oregon. In 2001, the house was relocated 21 miles to its current site at The Oregon Garden. A detailed PDF file containing printing and assembly instructions is included with this model download. Additionally, one-piece base and roof options are provided for users of larger printers. When sliced at 0.4x scale, a 1:64 scale model is produced. Here is a list of railroad scales and corresponding slicer scales: G - 1:25, 1 slicer scaling (no scaling) O - 1:48, 0.53 slicer scaling S - 1:64, 0.40 slicer scaling HO - 1:87, 0.29 slicer scaling (the smallest scale at which this model can be printed) N - 1:160, 0.16 slicer scaling It is possible to print this model in a 0.24x slicer scale, just under the HO scale of 0.29, and still have it fit within a 200 by 200mm printer area using all one-piece part versions. However, printing at this small scale will require patience due to the tiny size of the fretwork windows.
