Frank (Frankenstein) Bust
thingiverse
Remix of enginecogs' wonderful Frankenstein Bust. I wanted more of a brutal look so I changed the proportions of the head several times to achieve that. The original neck bolts weren't even, either individually or together. I removed them completely and added a shaft where you can use real metal bolts. They're perfectly angled for an artificial look with no play. I also replaced the base entirely to make it heavier and less like a chess piece. To fit the new base better, I rounded the shoulders. The model is designed for M8 neck bolts, but the hole's slightly smaller than that. You can either drill it larger or use a tap - you might be able to just screw in the bolts by heating them. If you want to use smaller bolts, scale the model down. The pictures show a print at 62.5% scale, with a 0.1mm layer height and printed at 40mm/s using PETG with 20% infill, along with M5 bolts.
